Joseph Alhalaby (owner / chef) Gold coast in 1990 as head chef in Broadbeach restaurants such as Bellissimo, Cosmopolitan, and Alfresco among others. Started own restaurant pronto Italian and Mediterranean restaurant in Broadbeach before moving to Caloundra in 1998 and opening Villa Tango Italian Restaurant at the lower end of Bullcock street and expanding his popular family restaurant in 2000 to its current location, now incorporating the restaurant and new addition of bar. With many years of experience behind it Villa Tango offers diners the true experience of cuisine originating from Northern and Southern Italy and the Mediterranean. Villa tango was the first restaurant in Caloundra CBD to introduce with the support of the council, outdoor dining and a quality takeaway menu. With seating that allows the diner to enjoy a range of experiences from alfresco outdoor dining, private romantic interior dining or an experience close to live performances.
