Details: Onslow Sun Chalets and Motel is located on Beadon Bay in Onslow on the Pilbara Coast of Western Australia. This serviced and self contained accommodation is perfect for family holidays and offers pool, air conditioning, BBQ, serviced motel rooms and self-contained facilities in the chalets. Onslow has a stairway to the moon. It may not be as spectacular as Broome but we do have it. It can be seen at Beadon Bay between April and October. The stairway to the moon is when the full moon rises over the water at low tide and creates the effect of steps going up. The Groin is for the serious fisher person in the family. Some good fish have been caught here. On the bay side of the Groin the beach is good for swimming and sand dollars have been found in this area. The Wharf at Beadon Creek is an interesting place to watch the fishing, prawning and charter boats coming and going. This is also where you'll find the main boat ramp. There is a filleting table by the boat ramp. Onslow has two lookouts located a short distance from one another. Both provide a wonderful view of the ocean and spectacular views at sunrise and sunset.
